ART EDUCATOR -  RESUME

For nearly 30 years, I’ve worked in Art Education, academic and museum settings as well as in private studios. Regardless of a student’s age level, my primary goal is to call out inherent curiosity and creativity. I focus on a student’s ideas because personal experience and values are fodder for creativity. Technical skills follow idea development.

Working with me, students learn to make art, but also to communicate. They improve their ability to reach out and to be understood.

For adults, I offer private and group instruction. For high school juniors and seniors wanting to apply to art schools, private and group instruction with portfolio-building sessions are essential. For younger children, I offer group classes.
